Flamenco.

Hola hola again. Last week I mentioned learning through lyrics and songs. I hope you enjoyed it:))

Today’s schedule is learning about the culture that we tend to learn about. Once, our Spanish teacher told us that if you learn the culture, you can learn the language details easily. I have experience related to this topic.

Paella.

While we are learning the food names, we start to count the ingredients. The food in question was paella. I am sure you heard it, but if you are curious about Paella, you will look it up and learn what is in it. When I checked the ingredients, I was really curious about it and wanted to learn more about it and other foods.

Bullfighting.

Other topics are traditional dances (especially flamenco) and bullfighting. As you all know, these are the most popular ones. Why am I mentioning them? Because while we are learning about culture and words related to them, it is really helpful for us. For example, in Spanish, “bull means “toro” and “bullfighter” means “torero.” I am trying to say, if you learn one word, you can put the other words into a logical order to learn. Also, Flamenco is a famous dance in Spain. When you search for Flamenco, you will learn what guitar, dance, rhythm, clapping, and stepping mean.

These are more enjoyable ways to memorize the words. I am sure everyone wants to find a way to learn a language in an unusual and exciting way.🙃🙃

Finally, the siesta is on.🤩 You have definitely heard of the siesta.. I always admire this thing, ha-ha. Siesta means “nap” in English. The Spanish take a short rest after lunch, and all Latin countries do it. Businesses provide opportunities for this. In particular, siesta is the need for rest felt by short-term sleep and the instantaneous mashing state of the body due to the heat of the sun rays or the acceleration of metabolic activities after lunch. To illustrate, while you are looking up the siesta, you will learn and study lots of new words, such as sleep, rest, lunch, heat, and so on.

Madrid Streets.

Last but not least, traveling is the most important and pleasant way of learning a language and enhancement . While you are traveling, you need to speak and improve your language level. For instance, imagine that you are going to a restaurant and you have to order, but you don’t know how to say it. You either have to learn before you go or you have to use translation at that moment. I think this is the best part of learning both ways, because you have the excitement of traveling and you learn something useful, even if you check the translation.

Anyhow, I really love writing every week here, but this week I am happier. I will come back next week with a superior topic. Maybe with movies or podcasts. Who knows, Sorpresa!! 😇 For now, Adios Chicos.
